Thank you all for helping make our  2nd Annual Fundraiser/Dinner a

success. We enjoyed great food and engaging speakers. A special

thank you to all of our speakers-Sue Everhart, Austin Scott,

Sam Olens, Gary Black, Tim Echols and Melvin Everson. 

Let's all get inspired by Melvin Everson who motivated us all to Get

Out the Vote on November 2.

UPCOMING EVENTS

September 11th-27th Annual Fuzz Run, 7-11 a.m.

Come join us for some fun at Covington's best 5k/1k run. This is a

wonderful family event that features runners of all ages, live bands,

and free gifts from participating sponsors. We will have a booth

where you can pick up bumper stickers, campaign literature, and

yard signs of our local and state GOP candidates. There will also be

a chance to meet with some of our candidates here as well.

We are looking for volunteers to help man the booth in 2 hour shifts.

Covington Police Building on Conyers Street. 

September 27, 2010-Newton Co. GOP Mtg at 7 p.m.

In the final two months before the election, we will be focusing on

our local candidates. Our speakers will be Ricky Corley-Bd of

Commissioners-District 1 and Rodney Upton-State Rep.-District 95. 

There will also be a discussion on how we can Get Out The Vote!

Norris Key will explain how we can best support our Republican

candidates by contacting people in your neighborhood and how to

get involved in a state or local campaign. Whether you want to

devote a few hours or a few days in promoting our GOP candidates,

your involvement is crucial to keeping Georgia a Red State.
